Mental health counseling is an important investment and commitment towards well-being. It is a normal part of the human experience to go through periods that are challenging and disruptive towards day-to-day functioning. Deciding on mental health counseling is a decision based on hope and strength. The expense of therapy is important to consider, as it is not just an investment in today, but an investment into skills and lifestyle patters that can last a lifetime.

I am currently an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum Health and Allways Health Plans. Members of these plans who meet the standard of medical necessity will be able to use their insurance to pay for psychotherapy, subject to the details of their plan. Members of other insurance plans with out-of-network benefits may be able to be reimbursed for some or all of the cost of therapy. Insurance is complicated, and seems to get more complicated every year. If you have questions, please contact your insurance company directly and ask for information about outpatient mental health benefits. Co-payment will be collected at the time of treatment.

Some clients choose to self-pay directly for therapy, which allows for some additional flexibility. A fee agreement will be clearly established during the initial meeting.

Payment is accepted in the forms of cash, check, Venmo and major credit cards.

Please let me know of any questions or concerns regarding payment, fees or insurance.
